Instruments made to order.

Work will only start on a "made to order" instrument upon payment of a 50% deposit, the deposit is non-refundable, this means in the event that an order is cancelled the deposit is lost.

Chris Lilley can only give approximate dates of completion for new instruments and these may vary from the actual completion date.

Chris Lilley is more than happy to discuss personal touches to an instrument ( e.g. additional inlays or unusual coloured varnish), though these may result in additional cost, and in some cases 100% payment before completion stage.

Pre-made instruments

Chris Lilley usually has some pre made instruments in stock, these may be purchased as seen, and cannot be customized after completion.

Chris Lilley may also have instruments that were offered as a trade in these instruments come with a 1 month guarantee.

Guarantee

Chris Lilley gives a life time guarantee to all his own instruments. This covers the purchaser against any manufacturing defects.The guarantee does not cover damage caused by abuse of the instrument either willing, or accidental. Chris Lilley reserves the right to determine whether a defect is caused by abuse. If the instrument has been subjected to unnecessary abuse the guarantee is void. The guarantee is not transferable between owners, if the instrument is sold on it is no longer guaranteed.

Prices

All prices quoted on this web site or in any communication prior to a purchasing agreement are for guidance only. Chris Lilley reserves the right to change prices as necessary. Once an agreement has been reached in writing or by hand shake that price will not be changed.

Collection of instruments

All instruments must be collected in person.

Chris accepts payment by cash or by balance transfer.
