Chris carries out a wide range of repairs to stringed instruments on a regular basis, it is important that if a musical instrument is damaged it is taken to a specialist, the accuracy involved in a good repair is very high, and unless done correctly, using specialist glues etc. an instrument can be devalued significantly, by a bad repair. All repairs are carried out by Chris himself, there is no outsourcing of work. An approximate price is agreed on at the beginning of repair work, and any issues that arise in the course of repairs which significantly alter the initial costing will be discussed with the instruments owner as and when they occur. Chris is more than happy to give free assessments of what is needed, and approximate quotes on repairs, and also advise as to whether or not an instrument is worth repairing. It is important to note here that even if an instrument has a neck snapped in two or a big hole in the front it is not beyond repair, and only a professional like Chris can make that assessment. With over 14 years experience of playing instruments, Chris knows how they should sound and feel. He will always try togive instant answers to your questions and the guarantee that he personally has carried the work out. Bellow is a list of some of the more common repairs Chris undertakes,
