Chris Lilley is now offering guitar and Bodhran lessons, Chris has played music with acoustic groups, folk rock, and alternative rock groups and Morris sides, as well as a lot of time playing in traditional Irish sessions.

Having begun playing Guitar, Bodhran and singing in sessions, and switching primarily to fiddle some 15 years ago, Chris understands the difficulties that can be faced with such issues as time signatures, finding the right key to play in, and which chords fit in which tune.

His approach is informal and based around giving the student as much help as possible in their aims as a musician. His focus is not on teaching for Grades or competition but on enjoying music to the maximum level of a players capability.

Based in Cambridge England Chris offers:

*The opportunity to practice accompaniment in a 1 on 1 tutorial environment

*To help you learn basic Rhythms and Chord progressions

Lesson duration is a minimum of 1 hour.

In the event of lessons being cancelled by the student, I will where possible try to arrange an alternative time in the week, where a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours and cannot be rescheduled, it must be paid for in full.
