Bow rehairing and Repair

I carry out Bow rehairing using the finest Mongolian horse hair, this type of hair is very fine and allows a better surface contact with the strings. Rehairing costs £35 for Violin Bows, £38 for Viola Bows.

Repairs to cracked frogs, new under slides, new slides, replacement pearl on under slides, replacement pearl eyes, Replacement bow tips, entire frog replacement, all undertaken.

I can do bow rehairs by post (contact me before sending them!), bows need to be packed in a strong tube and I recommend sending by insured post, Postal rehairs are £10 extra to cover postage and time taken to go to the post office etc. I send bows back through Royal Mail insured to £500, payment for postal rehairs can either be cash or cheque, if by cheque, it must be cleared before I send the bows (normally 5 working days).
